Community Partnership to Prevent Foreclosure Now

Larry Knightner, State Director of South Carolina Office of Housing and Urban Development, will present a workshop on foreclosure prevention at  the Myrtle Beach Train Depot, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11. If you are a homeowner facing the possibility of foreclosure, you may qualify for help from a $300 million federal package to assist states that are hardest hit by the foreclosure crisis.  Several groups, including the Carolina African American Heritage Foundation, Rehoboth Community Concern, First Choice Family Solutions and the City of Myrtle Beach are working together to make this foreclosure workshop possible.
