North Myrtle Beach was created as a city in 1968 with the joining of the communities of Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive and Cherry Grove. This city is also considered part of the 60-mile coastal stretch sometimes referred to as the Grand Strand.
Shopping, dining, golf, fishing and entertainment are easy to find. Residential homes, condos and villas as well as vacation resort properties are located throughout the city of North Myrtle Beach, on the Atlantic ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway or between these major bodies of water.
